Restaurant moves up the avenue to Manitou Springs

The Wild Ginger Thai restaurant has relocated to 27 Manitou Ave. (the former Eagle Graphics building) in Manitou Springs.
Owners Khon & Elmer Onexayvieng bought the building and renovated it for their restaurant. They hope to open before this weekend, Khon said. The couple owned and operated Wild Ginger for 12 1/2 years at 3020 W. Colorado Ave. Elmer, the chef, is from the Phillipines. He had previously worked as a chef at the Broadmoor Hotel Penrose Room; Khon, the manager, is from Laos. She said she has always worked in the restaurant industry.
